Marinated and Grilled London Broil
This is a phenomenal way to prepare a reasonably priced cut of beef for a family !!
1.5 to 2 pounds of Open Pasture Meats London Broil
1/4 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon of worcestershire
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon of honey
3 cloves of garlic minced
1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1 teaspoon of rosemary
Salt to taste
Make the marinade: mix and whisk together the soy saice, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, the garlic, Worchestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, black pepper and rosemary.
Place the London Broil in a large resealable bag or in a dish. Pour the marinade over the cut of meat making certain to cover the entire cut of meat. Cover the dish or seal the bag and allow to marinate overnight. Turn the meat over in the dish or flip the bag at least 3 times during the marinade period.
Heat your grill to medium high to high. Lightly oil the grill to prevent sticking.
Place the London Broil on the grill for 7 to 9 minutes per side. Using a meat thermometer …. 125 degrees to medium rare. 135 degrees to medium. Our recommendation is no more than 150 or the meat will become dry on the inside.
Allow the beef to rest for 10 minutes and then slice across the grain.
