Sourcing
All of Open Pasture Meats are sourced from small, sustainable farms and cattle ranches. Currently all of our farms are company owned and are located along the Appalachian mountain chain from the Southwest corner of Virginia, to the upstate of South Carolina.
Our farms are independently operated on typically less than 100 acres, where animals are humanly raised and free to roam. All of our local food is pasture raised and forage fed with No steroids, No hormones, No antibiotics and are non-GMO. Beef, chicken, pork and seafood are vacuum sealed without washes, dyes and bleaches, so that you receive the purest food.
We offer our grass fed beef, free range chicken, and heritage pork year round, and process animals weekly so that your food is as fresh and flavorful as possible. All of Open Pasture Meats are inspected in nearby USDA facilities.
In addition to USDA oversight, Open Pasture Meats submits quality samples for third party testing to ensure the purity of our meats. Seafood is wild caught off the coast of South Carolina and North Carolina and delivered within two days from catch.
